Mogadishu, July 2, 2021 – The Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) has elected Mr. Muse Gelle Yusuf as an interim chairperson.
Mr. Muse will convene the FEIT members to elect new leadership.
The interim chairperson formed a five-member ad-hoc committee that will organize the election of the chairperson and vice-chairperson on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Former FEIT chairperson Mohamed Hassan Irro has officially resigned and has handed over the duties to the new interim chairman.
